“How much will it cost?“

Each job is different and when evaluating the amount of work required for a job I take into account various factors like source text format, subject matter or urgency.

For this reason I can only give you a concrete quote when I know what exactly what the job entails.

Normally, I cost the translation according to the number of words in the source text (if you prefer the job to be calculated according to the German system, i.e. by the number of standard lines, I would of course be happy to oblige). Some translations, however, which contain many diagrams, are charged by the hour.

For proofreading/editing, it also depends on the individual case (format and requirements) as to whether the job is charged by the word or by the hour.
